We invite artists to create exclusive limited editions with us based on the artists’ career, his relevance in today’s artworld discourse, as well as our members’ preferences. We never commission works that we would not want to collect ourselves. Find our more about our team here

Why shop.artwelove?

The short answer: We believe that everybody should be able to collect the best art of their time. For this purpose, we’ve teamed up directly with our favorite artists, to create museum-quality limited editions, available from $15 and up, exclusively at shop.artwelove.com. Because we are convinced that today's print collectors will be tomorrow's biggest supporters of the arts, we want their first encounter with art to be an opportunity to explore thought-provoking artworks. This is why all our projects are unique collaborations with some of the most vibrant voices in contemporary art. (We have a long answer too!)

What are your methods of payment?

We accept VISA, Master Card, and Discover.

What is my Credit Card security code window? Why do you need it?

We require the 3-4 digits on either the back or front of your card to ensure a safe payment transaction between you and us. You can find the 3-digit security number on the back of your card, above your signature.

What is your shipping policy?

Most of our prints ship to the U.S., Puerto Rico, Canada, Australia, Belgium, France, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, and the United Kingdom via USPS Priority Mail, unless otherwise stated. All prints ship to Mexico and South America via FedEx International Mail.

We do not ship to P.O. Box numbers for safety reasons.

Orders returned due to insufficient address are subject to additional shipping & handling charges for reshipment.

We are generally able to process orders for international customers when the shipping address of their order is for delivery within these countries:

Most of our prints ship domestically within 4-5 weeks, via USPS or FedEx, and should arrive within 3-5 business days.

Most of our prints ship to Canada, Australia, continental Europe, and the United Kingdom within 4-5 weeks, via USPS or FedEx, and should arrive within 6-10 business days, not including customs time.

Most of our prints ship to Mexico and South America within 4-5 weeks, via FedEx, and should arrive within 6-10 business days, not including customs time.

Artworks up to 11 x 14 inches ship in extra sturdy, stay-flat envelopes. Artworks greater than 11 x 14 inches ship rolled in tubes.

Shipping costs within the U.S. are as follows:

  • Prints in our 8 x 10 inches range ship at a rate of $8.50 for the first print and $4.50 for each additional print.

  • Prints in our 11 x 14 inches range ship at a rate of $13.50 for the first print and $4.00 for each additional print.

  • Prints greater than 11 x 14 inches ship at a rate of $19.00 for the first print and $15.00 for each additional.

  • Certain prints at their largest size ship domestically via FedEx for $45.

Shipping costs to Canada are as follows:

  • Prints in our 8 x 10 inches range ship at a rate of $25.00 for the first print and $5.00 for each additional print.

  • Prints in our 11 x 14 inches range ship at a rate of $30.00 for the first print and $5.00 for each additional print.

  • Prints greater than 11 x 14 inches ship at a rate of $35.00 for the first print and $15.00 for each additional.

  • Certain prints at their largest size ship to Canada via FedEx. These prices vary and include shipping and handling costs plus the VAT tax.

Shipping costs to Australia, Belgium, France, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, and the United Kingdom are as follows:

  • Prints in our 8 x 10 inches range ship at a rate of $35.00 for the first print and $5.00 for each additional print.

  • Prints in our 11 x 14 inches range ship at a rate of $40.00 for the first print and $5.00 for each additional print.

  • Prints greater than 11 x 14 inches ship at a rate of $45.00 for the first print and $15.00 for each additional.

  • Certain prints at their largest size ship to Australia, continental Europe and the United Kingdom via FedEx. These prices vary and include shipping and handling costs plus the VAT tax for each country.

Shipping costs to Mexico and South America include shipping and handling costs plus the VAT tax for each country.

Note to International Customers

  • When shipping via USPS Priority Mail to Canada, Australia, continental Europe, and the United Kingdom, ArtWeLove is not responsible for any additional VAT tax encountered when prints are picked-up and/or delivered.

  • The Collector agrees to continue full payment for their order items in addition to Shipping and Handling fees in the event that their order is returned, held confiscated, or destroyed by customs due to their failure to pay appropriate VAT import/customs charges, or comply with customs laws for country of destination.

  • Collector shall be held responsible for any additional shipping charges incurred should Customs or Postal Officials return their order to ArtWeLove for an insufficient shipping address.

How do I track my shipment?

Once you receive your shipping confirmation email from artwelove.com, you will be able to track your shipment online, via USPS or Fedex websites, using the tracking number provided.

How do you ship your prints?

Our smaller prints, up to 11 x 14 inches in size, are put into protective sleeves and shipped in sturdy cardboard envelopes. Prints larger than 11 x 14 inches are also stored in protective glassine sheets but are generally shipped in tubes.

We pack our prints with extra care, doing our best to ensure that they won't be damaged, and all packages are labeled with special handling instructions. All prints are shipped via USPS or FedEx with a tracking code to allow us both to determine what happened to your print.

What is your return policy?

In the unlikely event that your print arrives damaged, or if you believe your print is lost, please email us at returns@artwelove.com with the subject line “return” and your order number. We will work fast to replace your print. In the instance that the edition has sold out, we will issue a refund upon physical proof that the damaged print has been destroyed or indeed lost. Inquiries about returns must be made within 14 days from the date that your print was marked delivered. Please make sure to keep the original packaging until your issue is resolved. We will do our very best to address your concern as soon as possible.

What if my print is returned to ArtWeLove before reaching its destination?

Orders can sometimes be returned to ArtWeLove due to insufficient address. In this circumstance, if ArtWeLove has correctly shipped the order to the exact address provided at checkout, the Collector will then be responsible for any additional shipping & handling charges based on the size of the print(s) being shipped. ArtWeLove will reship the order once the Collector has provided a new correct shipping address and paid for the additional shipping & handling charges.

What if I wish to return my artwork for any reason?

Returns claims must be made within 14 days from the date that your print was marked delivered. We treat return requests on a case-by-case basis. The earlier that you contact us, the more likely that we can help. We are committed to making your shopping experience at Shop.ArtWeLove the best possible!

Is your availability featured in real-time on your site?

If an artwork is marked as available on our site, there is at least one print out of the entire edition available for sale. Only rarely, can there be slight discrepancy, especially when editions sell quickly. In the event that you purchase an edition that is already sold out, you will be fully reimbursed.

Once you place an item in your cart, we reserve it on your behalf for at least one hour. If you do not check out before this reservation expires, it will be made available to the public again.

We sometimes reserve a quantity of prints for special events. If the print you want is not available online, you can contact collector@artwelove.com to see if we have an offline supply.

Can I be the first to know of an upcoming edition?

By signing up to our newsletter, you receive preview emails announcing new prints before they are available to the general public. This is the best way to increase your chances of catching a print before it sells out.

Why can't I buy more than 3 prints of the same edition at a time?

Our editions sell quickly and we want to ensure that every collector has a chance to participate. We only allow people to buy up to 3 prints of each size, and we don't permit resale. If you wish to order more than 3 artworks of any given size per person or shipping address, please contact us regarding your needs.

Can I see the work in-person?

Yes! ArtWeLove showroom is now open in Manhattan's Flatiron district by appointment. So, if you ever want to browse our editions in person, before making purchasing decisions, please email us at collector@artwelove.com to set up an appointment.

What is a limited edition?

An edition is a limited run of a particular piece of artwork. Once an edition is closed, the print cannot be reproduced, ever.

How unique is my limited edition piece?

Your piece is one of a limited run specifically created with the artist, and approved in sizes and print types by the artist. No additional prints will be made of this unique work -- and it is only available through ArtWeLove.com and selected approved partners. Each print comes with a certificate of authenticity which is numbered and signed by the artist.

How do I know these prints are authentic fine art works?

All of our projects are developed under the artist's direct supervision. Each print is paired with a certificate of authenticity, signed by the artist, and is individually numbered. All our prints are created using some of the finest archival pigment inks available, and they are printed on high quality fine art or photo-base paper. For prints in particular, we use a archival pigment printing process, which provides better color accuracy than other means of reproduction. Archival pigment printing is an industry accepted standard for fine art reproduction, used throughout museums and galleries.

Why do we emboss our editions?

An important role in authenticating prints, our embossed seal identifies ArtWeLove as the publisher by which the print was made. Embossing our editions gives further assurance to our collectors - and artists - that ArtWeLove prints can not be reproduced and are true, original ArtWeLove editions. Backed by our certificates of authenticity, the emboss preserves the integrity of each of our editions.

Our digital C-prints are not embossed because of the delicacy of the paper and for easy handling should a Collector choose to mount their print with plexiglass or glass.

How can I make sure that my print looks like the images online?

We recommend that you use calibrated monitors.

How do I take care of my prints?

Our prints are packed by professional art handlers and come in sturdy envelopes and tubes, depending upon the size. In addition, each print is wrapped in a protective acid-free glassine sheet. We use fine art paper and archival-quality inks, thus ensuring our prints their longevity. In addition, here is what you can do to protect your print:

Handle with love: Avoid over-manipulating your prints and always use white cotton or powder-free latex gloves when doing so: even if your hands are clean, your bare fingers have natural oils, acids and salts on your skin that can transfer to the artwork and can cause permanent damage.

Frame it fast, and frame it well: If your edition arrives in a tube, we recommend laying it flat quickly, and keeping it within the protective glassine sheets until you can properly frame it. If you need time, see storage recommendations below. When framing, ask your framer for an acid-free mat board and glare-free glass with a UV-protected coating. Mat boards are great to prevent the art from sticking to the glass over time. If you're laminating your digital c-print, ask a photo shop to have it professionally laminated to a base, or use a good-quality laminating machine if you would rather use a frame. If you decide to store your art, Make sure it's in a controlled environment, i.e.: a clean, dry, dark and well-ventilated area with moderate temperatures and humidity levels. Use acid-free glassine or protective paper to wrap your art, and avoid cardboards as they are very acidic.

Hang it neatly: Even under UV-protective glass or plexiglas, artwork, whether original or multiples, don't like direct sun. Hang your print in an area that is not exposed to direct sunlight. Never use a clip-on light on frames. This can create a “hot spot” that will damage your prints over time.

Dust it off! Clean frames regularly and inspect for signs of damage. Never spray cleaning products directly onto the glass. Instead, spray your cleaning cloth and then wipe the glass. Use an ammonia-free cleaner for best results, or one specifically designed for Plexiglas.

Store your certificate of authenticity with the same care: You might need it one day!

What is an archival pigment print?

Archival pigment printing is a process which provides better color accuracy than other means of reproduction. Archival pigment printing is an industry accepted standard for fine art reproduction, used throughout museums and galleries. Numerous examples of archival pigment prints can be found in New York City at the Metropolitan Museum, the Museum of Modern Art, and in Chelsea galleries. In archival pigment printing, no screen or other mechanical devices are used and therefore there is no visible dot screen pattern. By using this process, the image has all the tonalities and hues of the original artwork. Our archival pigment prints are printed on Somerset Enhanced 100% cotton fiber using fade-resistant, archival pigment-based inks. The paper is made using quality materials and buffered with calcium carbonate to help protect prints against attack by atmospheric pollutants.

What is a digital C-print?

Digital C-prints are actual photographic prints – very high quality, continuous tone (no dot pattern). They are produced by exposing photographic paper with Red, Green, and Blue laser light and then processing the paper with chemistry. It differs from inkjet or offset because in those processes ink is sprayed on the top of the paper in a dot pattern to create the image.

How do I purchase a gift certificate?

Gift certificates are purchased just like any other item on our site.

We send gift certificates two ways: digitally or by postal service.

Once you purchase a gift certificate, the order is reviewed and approved by one of our Customer Service team members WITHIN 1 TO 2 BUSINESS DAYS. This is done for your protection and security, and may create a small delay between the time you purchase the certificate and the time it is sent.

For digital gift certificates:

USE THIS OPTION IF YOU WANT TO SEND A GIFT CERTIFICATE BY EMAIL. IT'S VERY FAST AND FREE. Your order will be reviewed in less than 48 hours. After review, a unique Gift Code will be generated for your purchase. At this time, we will send the purchaser an email containing the code to share with the recipient. In this email, a high resolution JPEG containing the unique code will be attached so you can simply forward the message or print this image and hand-deliver your special Shop.ArtWeLove Gift Certificate.

For postal mailed gift certificates:

USE THIS OPTION IF YOU WANT TO MAIL A PRINTED GIFT CERTIFICATE VIA USPS. IT TAKES MAXIMUM 3 DAYS TO SHIP ONCE WE'VE PROCESSED YOUR ORDER AND IT COSTS $0.99. Your order will be reviewed in less than 48 hours. After review, a unique Gift Code will be generated for your purchase. At this time, we will print your special Shop.ArtWeLove Gift Certificate and mail it via USPS to the recipient.

What if I need a gift certificate instantly?

You can purchase our digital gift certificate. Once you’ve made your purchase, you can always print a blank version here. Feel free to fill it out and hand it to the recipient in minutes.

Keep in mind the completed gift certificate including the redemption code will be sent to you after our staff reviews the order and generates an unique code.

But, in the meantime, you’ll have a card in hand and the gift of art on the way!

How do I redeem a gift certificate?

Entering the code in the “Enter Gift Code” box during our checkout will redeem gift certificates. The amount of the gift certificates will automatically be applied to your purchase.

Any unused balance will be applied to your next order.

Gift certificates cannot be redeemed for cash. Returns on items purchased with a gift certificate will be issued as store credit.

How can I find out my gift certificate's balance?

Simply email collector@artwelove.com with the recipient’s name and unique Gift Code.
