Rushkoff/Friesen/Carnes is a collaboration between three distinct artists: Douglas Rushkoff, Shaun Friesen, and Seth Indigo Carnes.
The collaboration started with Rushkoff and Friesen participating in a variation on Carnes's original iheart variation series
A winner of the first Neil Postman award for Career Achievement in Public Intellectual Activity, Douglas Rushkoff is an author, teacher, and documentarian who focuses on the ways people, cultures, and institutions create, share, and influence each other’s values. He teaches media studies at NYU and the New School University, serves as technology columnist for The Daily Beast, and lectures around the world.
Shaun Friesen has held ever morphing roles over the years, including visionary artist, drum circle facilitator, didgeridoo teacher, sound healer, punk rock shamanic band leader, web and graphic designer, conscious business supporter, animator, eDrum VJ, and all round digital ninja. Learn more here.
New York based artist Seth Indigo Carnes, also known as [sic], is a conceptual media artist whose works focus on the creation of emotive experience and spiritual goods. Carnes’s works often reference the moving image, culture, technology, the public, street art, performance, and music.
