Photographer Stefan Hengst brings a candid style to his images developed during a year-long photographic project. Using his iPhone, since November 2009, Stefan has collected a vast catalog of photographs on Facebook. Having taken at least two pictures per day, he has amassed an album of nearly 1200 images. Entitled My Daily Poetry Fix, this body of work casts an intimate gaze into his day-to-day experiences while highlighting personal moments which garner universally identifiable themes and subjects. This project reached its conclusion in November 2010.

Stefan Hengst graduated with a B.F.A. from the College of Fine Arts & Design, St. Joost, in the Netherlands. His work has been recognized by well-known publications and institutions such as I.D. magazine, Graphis, Eye (The International Review of Graphic Design), and the American Institute of Graphic Arts. His photography has been exhibited at Collegno Gallery (New York), Future 86 art event (Catskills, NY), Bienale 2009 in Ecuador and Stedelijk Museum (Amsterdam).
