About this work

Globe and Blossom is an edition by Nina Tichava exclusively on ArtWeLove. In this edition, Nina layers dots, petal-like motifs, circles, and lines to create a densely layered surface drawing to mind natural forms and organic structures. Her picture plane is profoundly balanced while being heavily saturated. Nina maintains this balance through an underlying grid where pattern brings structure to chaos.

About Nina Tichava

Painter Nina Tichava utilizes techniques found in screen printing, wood block printing, and etching to create densely layered patterns of dots, circles, and abstractions. Nina visualizes her interest in what she calls “the history of surface” through highly textural materials such as cooper, resin, and brass.
