About Alison Weld

Abstract painter Alison Weld draws inspiration from her beginnings as a young artist living in New York City and working at the American Museum of Natural History making casts and molds. Her current body of work suggest organs, amoeba, and body parts stemming from the fossils which she prepared during her time at the museum.
