About this work
The Italian twins | 12.16.09 is an edition by Stefan Hengst exclusively on ArtWeLove. This photograph of two scooters in New York City’s East Village comes from Stefan’s year long project My Daily Poetry Fix. This edition is one image of nearly 1200 photographs taken by Hengst as an exercise in documenting his daily life and taking at least two photographs a day, using his iPhone. The numbers, following the title, mark the date on which he took this image.
