Colombian-born artist Juan Gomez uses the human form in its most expressive moments. Through both his abstract and figurative paintings, Gomez communicates the movement of the human body in its essential form. Juan Gomez received a Bachelor in Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. He has exhibited his work at Audiello Fine Arts (New York), CUE Art Foundation (New York), Art in General (New York), Lombard-Freid (New York), the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum (Ridgefield, CT), Bronx Museum (New York), and Diverse Works (Texas). His exhibitions have been reviewed in Art in America, The New York Times, The New York Sun, ArtNexus, and zingmagazine. His artworks are included in the permanent collections of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, The Dikeou Collection (Denver, CO), The Hispanic Society of America (New York), and the Farnsworth Art Museum (Rockland, ME).
